ZalaZ is a group of people who love the outdoors, hiking, nature, and are happy to share their passion with visitors. The project started as an idea to support trekking the Montenegrin Coastal Transversal’s route, but has since become a source for guiding, support and advice about hiking for all of Montenegro. From 2012 we are also providing information and guided tours in neighbouring Albania.
We are aiming at making tourism as sustainable and beneficial for the local people as possible. On our tours, we focus on contact with the locals and on the experience of authentic culture and food. We like to go off the beaten track and discover magic, almost forgotten places.
Furthermore, ZalaZ is actively involved in raising awareness of environmental problems, and supports and promotes the principles of Leave No Trace in order to contribute to the preservation of the natural beauty and diversity of our planet.
